“Either you are being disruptive, or you’re being disrupted”… a quote from Meg Whitman at this year’s HP Global Partner Conference. I just came back from four days in Las Vegas, where I attended the HP Global Partner Conference. Through early morning meetings, excellent keynote speeches and late night networking we were able to complete our agenda and get out of Las Vegas with a clearer vision on where HP is headed.
My biggest takeaway from the conference is that HP has their sales mojo back. With new leadership and alignment, things are really clicking at HP. Our meetings with HP sales executives reinforced what we’re seeing in the field. As we’ve expanded our sales organization both on the west and east coast, HP products and services are a critical part of our current and future growth.
Additionally, Meg spoke about the “New Style of IT.” That message aligns perfectly with client engagements we’ve been managing. In one specific engagement we’re utilizing HP converged systems with HP servers, 3Par storage, networking, and security solutions all supported with HP global support.
The Global Partner Conference demonstrated HP’s commitment to the channel as a critical part of their go-to-market strategy. We look forward to leveraging HP at our clients and continue being disruptive in the market.
